STJ Dumpster Rental St Joseph ("STJ Dumpster Rental", "we", "us", "our") is based at 12819 Country Pl, Saint Joseph, MO 64505, where we own and operate our own fleet of trucks and roll-off containers. We deliver, service and collect every container ourselves. By submitting an inquiry or booking a rental you agree to these terms.

1. Our service

STJ Dumpster Rental rents roll-off dumpsters to customers in St. Joseph and Greater St. Joseph. When you call, we quote your job, confirm a flat rate, and our own driver delivers, services, picks up and disposes of the container using our own equipment. The rental agreement is directly between you and STJ Dumpster Rental — there is no third-party provider involved in fulfilling your order.

2. What a flat rate includes

The flat rate we quote covers delivery, a seven-day rental period unless otherwise agreed, collection, a stated weight allowance, disposal at a permitted facility, and applicable state and local taxes. Payment is generally collected by major credit or debit card at the time of booking. Established contractors and commercial accounts may be invoiced on terms.

3. Additional charges

Charges beyond a quoted flat rate arise only in specific circumstances, all disclosed to you at booking: weight overage above the stated allowance; extended rental beyond the agreed period; a dry-run charge where a truck attends but cannot deliver or collect because access is blocked or the container is overloaded; relocation of a container after it has been set; and the cost of handling prohibited material placed in the container.

4. Prohibited materials

Containers we place may not contain: paint, solvents or oils; tires; batteries; hazardous chemicals; propane tanks or gas cylinders; medical waste; liquids of any kind; asbestos-containing material; refrigerant-containing appliances; electronics restricted from disposal under Missouri Department of Natural Resources - Solid Waste Management guidance; ammunition or explosives; radioactive material; or anything else classed as hazardous under federal, Missouri or local law. You remain responsible for the contents of any container placed at your site.

5. Placement, access and permits

You are responsible for ensuring the placement area — a driveway, curbside, a construction or demolition site, or a commercial lot — is legal, safe, accessible and able to bear the weight of a loaded container and truck, and for identifying underground utilities, septic systems, wells and irrigation lines — call Missouri 811 - Call Before You Dig (call 811) before any digging. A container on private property generally does not require a permit anywhere we serve. Where a container is placed on a public street, you are responsible for obtaining any required temporary placement permit from the relevant local government — City of St. Joseph, MO for addresses within St. Joseph, Buchanan County, MO Government for county-road and unincorporated-area matters elsewhere in Buchanan County, or each other city's own municipal office — unless we have specifically agreed in writing to secure that permit on your behalf, and you remain responsible for any required signage, reflectors or barricades.

6. Rental period and extensions

The standard rental period is seven days from delivery. Extensions are easy to arrange by phone and are billed at a stated daily rate disclosed at booking. Early pickup is available on request and does not reduce the flat rate already quoted.

7. No warranty

This website is offered "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to container availability on a given date. We take reasonable steps to schedule accurately, but weather, traffic and equipment issues can occasionally cause delay.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STJ Dumpster Rental's total liability arising from your use of this website or your rental is limited to the amount you paid to book the rental in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or project delay.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify STJ Dumpster Rental against claims, penalties and costs arising from prohibited material placed in a container by you or anyone at your site, from placement on land you did not have authority to use, or from your failure to obtain a required permit.

10. Force majeure

STJ Dumpster Rental is not liable for delay or failure to deliver, service or collect a container caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe storms and tornado warnings, winter ice events, extreme heat advisories, high wind events, road closures, restrictions imposed under Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) rules, landfill closures, equipment failure or labor disruption.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and the state and federal courts located in Missouri shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of this website.

12. Dispute resolution

Before pursuing formal action, please contact us at (816) 396-7520 or info@stjdumpsterstjoseph.com so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally. Nothing here limits either party's right to seek relief in a court of competent jurisdiction as described above.
